In 2005, at the age of 17, I joined Wulan Muqi. The Mongolian original meaning of Wulan Muqi is "red bud", which was later extended to "red literary light cavalry". It is a cultural work team born to adapt to the characteristics of production and life in grassland areas. For more than 20 years, I have traveled to more than 100 Gacha villages in Yijinhuoluo Banner, with a cumulative journey of more than 260,000 kilometers. At most, I performed more than 200 performances every year, and I spent one third of the year performing in rural areas in agricultural and pastoral areas. I am a grass-roots literary and art worker in Meilisi Daur area of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. A job change in 2007 made me a member of Meris Cultural Center. When I first set foot on this land, the distinctive folk customs attracted me. Music made me attached to this land, and it was hard to give it up from then on.

Sihu, for me, is not only a musical instrument, but also a symbol of Daur culture. As an accompaniment instrument of the national intangible cultural heritage project "Wuqin of Daur nationality", Sihu has a unique timbre and melody. To this end, after entering the cultural center, I studied Sihu. How to master playing skills quickly? I started with learning erhu performance, and deeply studied the music history and cultural background of Daur nationality, and gradually integrated the unique charm of Daur nationality into Sihu performance. After finishing my studies, I volunteered to carry out the teaching of "Four Lakes" in the cultural center, and trained thousands of people before and after.

The Daur nationality has a profound historical background and charming charm. However, with the development of the times, Daur literature and art are facing the risk of no successor. How to make more people know and fall in love with Daur literature? I wrote songs such as "Auspicious Daur" and "Purple Fragrance in Spring". There is no written record of Daur language, and the ancient songs passed down from mouth to mouth are facing extinction. In view of this situation, I have excavated and compiled nearly 100 Daur’s "Wuqin" rap and "Hack Maile" dance accompaniment, and compiled them into a book to help Daur’s intangible cultural heritage be protected and passed down.

I have encountered many difficulties, but I have also met many like-minded partners, and I am even more fortunate to see the government send cultural heritage to the campus and bring it into thousands of families. In 2007, I came to the Cultural Center of Chengxi District from the former Xining Qin Opera Troupe, and it has been more than ten years now. When I was 14 years old, I was admitted to the student class of Shaanxi Chang ‘an Troupe to study the performance of traditional operas (Shaanxi Opera). It took me more than 30 years to rehearse a large number of modern operas, costume dramas, traditional operas and self-made dramas. I played 50 or 60 different roles, performed more than 200 performances on average every year, traveled all over Qinghai’s urban and rural areas and five northwestern provinces, and participated in provincial, municipal and national drama (opera) competitions for 30 or 40 times, and got good results every time.

The creation of stage works has always been my dream, but I didn’t expect it to become my main job after I arrived at the cultural center. Someone asked me, "What is the biggest difference between being in a troupe and a cultural center?" Works can’t work without a platform, let alone without collaborators. Without a platform, the audience can’t see new works, and without collaborators, the works can’t be displayed brilliantly. Fortunately, there are many mass cultural teams, which provide me with collaborators and platforms.

The length and amount of information of the works I created are not large, but they are full of connections, joys and sorrows, singing, reading and playing, summing up in practice, perfecting in summary and forming in perfection … … In the process of creation, I am completely immersed in my work, and I feel that I can serve the masses with easy-to-understand work style and performance style, and I will be happy. I am 53 years old. I am the third generation representative inheritor of Chongqing Fengdu non-legacy wooden stick opera and the head of Yibai Puppet Art Troupe in Fengdu County. It was nearly 30 years ago that I became attached to puppet shows.

I used to work in a scenic spot in Fengdu County. In 1995, in order to attract more tourists, the unit set up a puppet show team, and I was one of them. At that time, we didn’t know anything about puppet shows, let alone how to perform them, so the unit hired professional teachers from other places to give guidance. Starting from basic training, after half a year of hard training, we gradually entered the door.

In those years, there were many domestic and foreign tourists visiting Fengdu, and puppet shows were very popular among tourists, with more than 8 performances every day. Gradually, I fell in love with puppet shows. In 2016, I set up my own art troupe. At that time, I knew that there had already been a puppet show in Fengdu — — It’s just a wooden stick opera, and it’s still a county-level intangible heritage in Fengdu. In order to better inherit and develop the wooden stick opera in Fengdu, I worshipped the local master and went out of Fengdu to learn from domestic professional academies.

Our team is an active participant in local mass cultural brand activities. In 2017, it was included in the service team of literary volunteers belonging to the County Cultural Center. At that year’s Fengdu Temple Fair, we performed publicly for domestic and foreign tourists and the general public. Everyone was attracted by our original wooden stick opera, and the performance lasted for more than 50 minutes, which made many viewers stare. During the 7-day temple fair, we performed two performances every morning and afternoon, and the venue was full. Some viewers were not satisfied with one performance, and then they watched the second and third performances, and the team members enjoyed themselves.

The audience’s love gives us great confidence. I have been interested in traditional Chinese opera since I was a child. After graduating from local opera major in 2003, I took to the stage and devoted myself to the creation and performance of Errenzhuan and Jiju Opera. Over the years, I have been down-to-earth and worked hard to create works with temperature. In 2023, I led a team to participate in 273 performances. Whether in the fields or on the theater stage, the happiest thing is always to see the audience smile from the heart.

Creation comes from the fiery life. In July 2023, the large-scale modern Ji Opera "Happy Flowers Bloom" was staged in Jilin People’s Grand Theatre after repeated polishing, and the response was enthusiastic. With the arrival of different stages of epidemic development, especially the current epidemic has entered a global pandemic period, what can the experience of Chinese medicine in China share for the world? Many media friends are very concerned.

Dear friends, when the COVID-19 epidemic poses a global threat, several experts and I are here today, looking forward to sharing with you the situation of Chinese medicine participating in the prevention, control and treatment of the epidemic through more dialogues and exchanges.

General Secretary of the Supreme Leader attached great importance to the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic, personally led, personally directed and personally deployed this struggle, and repeatedly stressed the need to adhere to the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine and the use of traditional Chinese medicine. In the early days of the outbreak in Wuhan, many suspected patients were waiting for a definite diagnosis at the isolation point. We gave Chinese medicine decoction or Chinese patent medicine in time, which effectively eased the development of the disease and eased the pressure of medical resources shortage.

Third, screening effective prescriptions. To promote scientific and technological research, we have observed the clinical efficacy of Chinese patent medicines and prescriptions that have been included in the fifth, sixth and seventh editions of the diagnosis and treatment plan. At present, Jinhua Qinggan Granule, Lianhua Qingwen Capsule, Xuebijing Injection, Qingfei Detoxification Decoction, Huashi Detoxification Formula and Xuanfei Detoxification Formula have been screened out.

Among the confirmed cases in COVID-19, 74,187 people used Chinese medicine, accounting for 91.5%, of which 61,449 people in Hubei Province used Chinese medicine, accounting for 90.6%. Thank you for your question. I arrived in Wuhan on January 27th, and it has been nearly two months now. When I first came to Wuhan, the epidemic situation was very serious, the hospital was full, and hundreds of people lined up in the fever clinic for hours without seeing the doctor. In particular, those who see a doctor and those who accompany the doctor are mixed together, which makes people worry. Now, after two months, what is the situation in Wuhan now? At present, the number of patients in the hospital has dropped from more than 60,000 to about 5,000, and the number of critically ill patients has dropped from 12,000 to about 1,800, especially three zeros have been achieved for five consecutive days, so this situation is improving. As the Italian poet Dante said, "Break through the dark night and see the stars all over the sky".

However, when I saw the epidemic in Europe and America recently, I was also very worried and empathetic, so I was very willing to share some of our experiences with my international counterparts. In the face of the chaotic epidemic situation in Wuhan, the Central Steering Group made decisive decisions, centralized isolation and classified management, and resolutely isolated patients with fever, observation, suspicion and close contact. The community organizations and citizens at the grassroots level in Wuhan were very helpful, and it took a few days to basically isolate the patients. But it is only half the battle to isolate and not give medicine. There is no effective medicine or vaccine, but we have Chinese medicine, so we distribute Chinese medicine decoction and Chinese patent medicine to patients. It didn’t go well at first. In 13 districts of Wuhan, we only distributed more than 3,000 on the first day. Two or three days later, everyone saw the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine, and the fever and cough were reduced. They took the initiative to ask for medicine to drink, reaching more than 10,000 bags of medicine. Later, more and more medicines were distributed, with a total of more than 600,000 people. What is the effect? Suppressed the spread of the epidemic, I have a set of data to prove it. From early February to mid-February, more than 80% of COVID-19 patients were diagnosed from the four groups of people mentioned just now, and by mid-February, it dropped to 30%, and by the end of February, it dropped to single digits. Therefore, we said that centralized isolation and universal use of Chinese medicine prevented the spread of the epidemic, which was the basis for our victory.

The second experience is that the central government decided to collect all the things that should be treated, but there were not so many beds. At this time, the decision of the central steering group was classified management and scientific treatment. The severe cases were treated in designated hospitals and the mild cases were treated in shelter hospitals, and the management norms for light and ordinary treatment were introduced. However, the shelter hospital is different from ordinary hospitals, and hundreds of people are concentrated in one hall, so management is a big problem. In this case, Professor Liu Qingquan and I jointly proposed to the headquarters that Chinese medicine should enter the shelter, and at the same time, we established the shelter hospital of Chinese medicine, namely Jiangxia shelter hospital. In this hospital, we put service first and treatment second. How to serve? Because the cabin is too big and the temperature inside is relatively low, we guarantee hot beds, hot water and hot meals, as well as warm service. At the same time, we care about patients, communicate with them more, celebrate their birthdays, organize them to do exercises, select three cabin friends, and give enthusiastic treatment, so our doctor-patient relationship is very harmonious. After a few days, everyone feels that the cabin is not like a hospital, but like a big community and a big family, which is also beneficial to patients.

Our cabin is full of mild and ordinary patients. According to the report of the World Health Organization, the proportion of severe cases in COVID-19 is 13%, and that of critical cases is about 7%. Therefore, we say that we are treated in the shelter, and it is our goal that mild diseases do not turn into severe ones. Therefore, we have adopted the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine, in addition to giving decoction or oral Chinese patent medicine, there are also comprehensive treatments such as massage, scraping and sticking. What is the effect of treatment? Take Jiangxia shelter as an example. None of the 564 patients in our shelter became severe. After we gained experience, we also promoted it to other cabins. More than 10,000 patients generally used Chinese medicine, and the weight transfer rate of each cabin was basically about 2% to 5%. It should be said that the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the shelter has significantly reduced the proportion of mild illness to severe illness, which is the key to our victory.

We also have an experience, that is, severe treatment is the most important. For severe patients, we still emphasize western medicine as the mainstay, Chinese medicine as the cooperation, and the combination of Chinese and Western medicine. However, the cooperation of Chinese medicine is sometimes as heavy as four or two. Our Chinese medicine practitioners have participated in intensive care in Jinyintan Hospital, Hubei Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Thunder God Mountain hospital, and achieved very good results. Our experience is that traditional Chinese medicine injections should be used boldly and early. For example, Shengmai injection and Shenmai injection can stabilize the blood oxygen saturation of patients and improve the oxygenation level. For example, Tanreqing injection, Reduning injection and antibiotics have a synergistic effect, Xuebijing has a certain effect on restraining inflammatory storm and controlling the progress of the disease. Severe treatment, combination of Chinese and Western medicine and reducing the mortality rate are the core of our success.

Finally, the patient’s virus turned negative and was discharged from the hospital. He entered the isolation point for rehabilitation. From the current clinical observation, there are several aspects in the treatment of severe and critical patients: first, it reduces the transformation from mild and ordinary patients to severe, second, it reduces the transformation from severe to critical, third, it treats severe and critical patients, and fourth, it recovers them. In these aspects, Chinese medicine has played a very important role. 　　Yang Xuefeng and Shi Weinian, traffic policemen, were attacked and killed in the course of law enforcement, which are just two cases in which many front-line police and auxiliary police officers encountered violent resistance to the law during their normal law enforcement duties. According to relevant data, in 2017, 361 public security policemen were killed and 6,234 were injured in the line of duty, and another 126 auxiliary policemen were killed in the line of duty. Among them, the proportion of policemen and auxiliary policemen who died and were injured because of violent resistance to the law is not low. Today, with the deepening of the rule of law, incidents of challenging the police’s law enforcement authority and violent resistance to the law are still frequent. The reason is that some people’s awareness of the rule of law is weak and some online public opinion guidance is biased, which is still an important factor that cannot be avoided.

　　In reality, in the face of the normal law enforcement by the police, some people have a weak awareness of the rule of law, coupled with selfish mentality, putting personal interests above the law, social order and public safety. Under the distorted logic, they regard the normal law enforcement by the police as "making things difficult" for themselves and do not hesitate to try their own laws. In the online public opinion field, in the face of vicious criminals, there are always some voices that sympathize with them in the name of vulnerable groups. After Yang Xuefeng and Shi Weinian were attacked and sacrificed, there even appeared abnormal remarks praising the murderers as "righteous men", which boosted the arrogance of violent resistance to the law. These problems need to be solved by the whole society.

　　Not long ago, in view of the frequent occurrence of violent resistance to the law, the Ministry of Public Security asked local public security organs to take strong measures to effectively strengthen the protection of police law enforcement rights and interests, further promote the standardization of law enforcement, and resolutely safeguard national legal dignity and police law enforcement authority. These measures have won the praise of the public security police and the public. However, we should also see that it is the proper meaning for the construction of China ruled by law to respect the law and abide by the law. Maintaining the authority of police law enforcement should become the conscious action of the whole society. Only when people are yelling at those who are violent against the law and ensuring that the police’s policing behavior and legitimate rights and interests are effectively protected can we create a more upright and just law enforcement environment.
